Athou L.

Athou L, 2009

I am a young Sudanese girl in class four. I originally come from Sudan. My name is Athou L. and I was born in the year 1998.

My parents were displaced from our mother land (Sudan) by the war that broke in Sudan (1987) hence ending up in the Refugee camp. Actually my relatives got scattered and I have never had a chance to meet my relatives since then.

I was taken by Peter Herjok Nyok Mach who saw my plight; he took me and brought me to Kenya where he struggled to place me in school. Am now in class four. For this kind village mate what can we say, just to pray for him to live forever in this world? We are currently staying with his family and other children he has taken from Su My dream is to become a community nurse so that at long last I will relocate back to my motherland and help my people. And I also assist the other children who we were playing together and did not get education like I did.

My hobbies are skipping rope playing cards and netball.

My dream is to become a community nurse so that at long last I will relocate back to my motherland and help my people. And I also assist the other children who we were playing together and did not get education like I did.
